This depends on what you want to acheive in the final project but all Voice Over files are provided in common formats like Wav, mp3 etc etc..
In a word, Excellent! My audio is recorded through Neumann microphones into boutique preamps followed by outboard compression and equalisation to give it that broadcast sound.
